Do I have to pay?

No! There is no cost to either attend the cafe or for any of the cakes or drinks. There are no expectations other than to enjoy a slice of cake and a warm drink.

Do you ever do anything for special occasions?

Yes! We hosted themed cafes for the Platinum Jubilee, the Coronation and have a special cafe in December for Christmas. We also sometimes have interesting speakers and live background music.

I can't commit to every month - can I still volunteer?

Yes! We know life can sometimes be busy. We need volunteers who can come to the monthly cafes but also to bake cakes for the event. If you are not able to attend the cafe but could still help us by baking a cake that would be great!

Who funds you?

We are run by donations and the kind sponsorship of our local COOK shop & Sainsburys.

What sort of cakes and drinks do you provide?

All sorts! Our volunteers are excellent bakers and regularly provide fruitcakes, sponges, brownies and many more. We serve a variety of hot drinks.

Where is the cafe held?

We are based at the Community Centre, Badger Farm in Winchester. There is plenty of parking by the Sainsbury's.

How can I donate?

Please contact Debbie on info@chat-tea.co.uk if you would like to donate to the cafe. It all helps us keep the cafe going!
